Tatabánya has grown from a former mining town into a green metropolis with numerous parks and 65,000 inhabitants. The municipality places great importance on ensuring that, despite the industrial park, nearby quarry, and heavy car traffic, the town remains clean, environmentally friendly and liveable.

Young and old, from 7 years old to 70 - all ages were represented in this year's tekAIRd körbe! competition. The campaign, part of the HungAIRy LIFE integrated, was launched by Herman Ottó Institute Nonprofit Ltd. and its project partners to promote the importance of bicycle.

Mayor Ádám Mirkóczi highlighted the importance of a new community cycling system for Eger, noting that it brings a much-needed environmentally conscious transport option to the city.

Under the HungAIRy LIFE integrated project, Herman Otto Institute Non-profit Ltd. has launched the first addition of its “tekAIR” Pro-Cycling National Video Contest for individuals and teams of interested people.
